I’ve been playing with some data I crawled from a large online message board (the MacRumors Forums) and produced this graph of message volume over time.  I’ve marked a few things with colored vertical lines: blue=OS releases, orange=MacWorld Expos, red=iphone announcement & going on sale, green=announcement of transitioning to Intel processors. Nothing too surprising here, but fun nonetheless to see the conversation spiking around events.
